How to play
A new haul every day: five categories, thirty seconds each. Type every answer you can think of. Rare answers are heavy fish, common ones are light, and the heaviest bucket wins.

In depth
01The haul
Every day at midnight a new haul opens: five categories, 30 seconds each. The category is hidden until the countdown, then your line casts on zero and you type as many answers as you can. Press Enter or tap Catch after each one.
02Weight is rarity
Every correct answer is a fish. The fewer players who think of it, the heavier it is. Your score is the total weight of your bucket, so three rare catches can beat ten obvious ones.
Each tier has a little natural variation, so two Marlins won’t weigh exactly the same. There is one Kraken in every category.
03Round 5 is the specialty
The last category is a narrower, deeper subject and every catch weighs double. It’s where hauls are won.
04Typos and nicknames
Only the exact name or a known nickname goes straight in the bucket (“UK”, “Habs”, “FDR” all count). Anything the game had to fix asks first: type “brazl” and it asks Did you mean Brazil? Press Enter again or tap the name to accept, or keep typing to ignore it. It never guesses on your behalf, so a slip can’t put the wrong fish in your bucket.
05Between rounds
There’s no leaving mid-haul, and refreshing the page brings you back to the next round, not the start. You can reel in early if you’re out of ideas; the clock is only a ceiling.
06Streaks, rods and bobbers
Finish a haul every day to build a streak. Streaks unlock a better rod every 5 days, up to day 25, and single big hauls unlock bobbers. The Rod rack in the menu keeps track.
07After the haul
Your report shows your total, how you rank against today’s players, your rarest catch and a full list of every answer in every category, with yours highlighted. The home screen keeps your result until the next haul opens.
